Provided Coverage

All Kemper home insurance policies will cover the structure, contents in the home, structures on the property, coverage for expenses while living away from home (after loss), and liability coverage for you and your family.

Water back up coverage is included with each policy up to coverage A (Dwelling Limit).

Optional Coverage

Tailoring coverage to fit the needs of your home is important to Milestone insurance. Additional coverage added to your policy may be required to be completely covered. Options include but are not limited to:

  • Replacement cost loss settlements on home contents: The contents in your home are usually covered at actual cash value (Replacement cost minus depreciation). This endorsement changes the loss settlement to replacement cost so you get back what you paid for.
  • Boat Owners Coverage: You can add coverage for your watercraft to your Kemper’s homeowner’s policy. This is basically its own boat policy.
  • Excess Liability: This endorsement can provide extra liability coverage across all your policies even if they are not with Kemper.
  • ID Fraud Coverage: Kemper will cover the expenses associated with identity theft. Up to $15,000 is available.
  • Blanket Valuable Items: This coverage can be used to cover items like jewelry, furs, and silverware up to $10,000 per item. No deductible or schedule required.
  • Equipment Breakdown Coverage: Provides coverage for water heater, AC system, and other appliances in the home that may breakdown.
  • Mold Coverage: Mold coverage is available with this endorsement. Usually excluded on your normal homeowner’s policy.
